Have you ever wanted to try Meditation for mental clarity and awareness and general health and wellness? Or do you practice Meditation, but have not had the chance to learn the basics or try different styles and would benefit from immersing yourself in a grounding course?

Here is a great opportunity for you if you live close to the Rockingham area. For a limited time only, Shanthi Bhavana Meditation & Yoga is offering an “Introduction to Meditation” course.

This is an opportunity to start at the very beginning and learn the basics of traditional meditation – a wellness practice from India and other Asian cultures that is thousands of years old, passed down from master to student!

Taught by internationally trained and certified Yoga and Meditation teacher, Sri Shanthi Bhavana – a graduate and registered Hatha Yoga teacher with AURA Wellness Centre, Massachusetts, USA;  a graduate and registered Meditation teacher with Inner Voyage Holistic Human Development School of Meditation and Alternative Therapy (IVHHD);  a member of the International Meditation Teachers Association (IMTA); and a registered practitioner with the International Institute for Complementary Therapists as a professional Yoga and Meditation Trainer (IICT).

Course will include individual attention and printed handout material, and will cover the basics of:

·       Philosophy of Meditation

·       Pranayama (Breath control) for Meditation

·       Yoga stretches for sitting Meditation

·       Walking Meditation

·       Nada (Sound) Meditation

·       Various styles of Meditation, including:  

·       Samatha, Samadhi, Trataka, Nada, Mindfulness, Insight (Vipasana)

It’s a primer for Meditation practice… at a level suitable for all new comers to Meditation.
